2010 Design Awards Competition
2010 Design Awards Competition NEWH Las Vegas encourages all designers, architects, builders and general contractors to enter the 7th Annual HOSPY Awards competition. The awards recognize deserving individuals and firms in the hospitality industry for extraordinary achievements in architecture, design, and development.
Eligibility for Entries
For Southern Nevada Firms: Any new construction project or renovation completed anywhere in the world between January 1, 2008 and June 30, 2010 is eligible for submission.
For Firms Outside Southern Nevada: If you have completed new construction or a renovation in Southern Nevada during the above timeline, your firm is eligible for submission.
Entry Fees
Fees are $100.00 for the first project; $75.00 for each additional project.
Hospy Awards Event
The 2010 HOSPY Awards will be presented during the NEWH Las Vegas fundraising event on October 30, 2010 at Wynn Las Vegas. Up to five finalists will be recognized in each category and a winner in each category will be announced during the awards ceremony. All submitting firms should have representation present to accept their HOSPY awards. Each firm will receive two complimentary VIP Reception invitations. The reception will be held prior to the HOSPY Awards, which will be attended by submitting design firms (2 guests), former and current Industry Achievement Award recipients, 2010 HOSPY sponsors, NEWH Board members, and the media.
After the 2010 Annual HOSPY Awards, projects of all category finalists will be displayed electronically in the World Market Center Las Vegas, Building A Lobby.
