Our industry has embraced extraordinary challenges and economic shifts since our 2008 HOSPY Awards.  What I find profoundly moving is the spirit that remains intact within this industry and the uplifting gatherings of NEWH members and friends to encourage one another. These are uncommon times where individuals and companies dig deep to re-invent themselves and find new means to express their passion for hospitality, the community, and the environment.

 

I am extremely proud of the Las Vegas Chapter Board of Directors and the heart of our members.  The HOSPY Awards is our most prestigious fundraising event of the year which creates scholarships for talented, deserving students specializing in interior design, architecture, culinary arts, hotel management and business.

 

This year, I invite your participation and generous support to make a difference - investing in the next generation of industry leaders.  In April, we awarded over $28,000 in scholarships.  Sir Winston Churchill said, “We make a living by what we get.  We make a life by what we give”. We look forward to an elegant, inspiring awards ceremony this year!
